CYIWebView Class Reference

Detailed Description

A visual representation of web content with basic navigation controls.

CYIWebView combines a CYIWebViewController and CYIPlatformView to present web content. The CYIWebViewController is used to logically control the view, allowing actions such as navigation to a Url, and navigating back and forward. A CYIPlatformView is used to display the web content.

A CYIWebViewController is created automatically on supported platforms. The controller can be retrieved using GetWebViewController(), and this must be used to control the web view.

Example usage:

Note
CYIWebViewController can be used independantely of CYIWebView if a visual representation is not required.

The CYIWebView and the internal CYIPlatformView can be instansiated on all platforms, but the internal CYIWebViewController is only available on supported platforms. See CYIWebViewController documentation for information regarding supported platforms

Returns the CYIWebViewController associated with this CYIWebView. A CYIWebViewController is created automatically on supported platforms.

Returns nullptr if CYIWebViewController could not be created on the current platform and one was not set using SetWebViewController.

The CYIWebView instance retains ownership of the returned CYIWebViewController.
